Rotofast

Development of an efficient heating and cooling technology system for traditional moulding, which will – dramatically-reduce cycle time, product cost and energy consumption.

The Rotational Moulding Industry is characterized by small businesses with low investments and scarce innovations, whose manufacturers have developed their own proprietary products and therefore, without new technology and hardly R&D capacity. The majority of them are members of Industrial Associations which are aware of the needs and lack of competitiveness that the European community is facing. Unfortunately, IAGs have not necessary scientific knowledge and enough budget to develop new technologies to improve the competitiveness of the sector.

Industrial Associations, thanks to the EU Collective Research Program, have subcontract RTD performers to develop the innovative ROTOFAST technology which will get reduce the production cost and save energy consumption. In addition, the technology will improve risks of dust explosions on factory plants.
